20 domains? So silly!
DOT US is so progressive - I didn't even know about .us as a domain.
It has this whole very cool computer insider feeling to me.
For some reason I don't like the whole DOT ORG deal.
Maybe we could have a focus group about it.
It brings up bad feelings like I am going to get ripped off by
some non-profit that has some agenda. Like they ar TOO Cheap
to get a DOT COM.
Org definately brings up many images of body parts.
I know I'm messed up but that is what I feel.
I vote with Sara.
Nowadays there are all kinds of TLDs, and which one you choose should be completely up to you. I'd take the above statement into account somewhat though; many people are now aware of some of the more common TLDs (.edu, .org, .net, etc.), but .us will probably still confuse many grandmothers of the world.
What I wrote is about how I feel when I see it. I'ts not good.
At best it's almost like some boring government entity.
Most of the time I actually will avoid the .org web sites. except the bridge.
My problem is Scatteredthoughts.us is so long and hard to remember, if you tell someone. Like ScatteredMedia.com, I told one person my email and he said, "wow that's a long one". Idiot.
I think I might just tell people my blog is dancameron.org but just forward it to scatteredthoughts.us.
