Is this for personal or professional use? Stick with scattered thoughts, that's the one you use now, it's too confusing to change it all up!

I like: scatteredthoughts . us
DOT US is so progressive - I didn't even know about .us as a domain. It has this whole very cool computer insider feeling to me.
For some reason I don't like the whole DOT ORG deal.
Maybe we could have a focus group about it. It brings up bad feelings like I am going to get ripped off by some non-profit that has some agenda. Like they ar TOO Cheap to get a DOT COM.
Org definately brings up many images of body parts.
I know I'm messed up but that is what I feel.

commercial sites, whereas .org was for non-commercial sites. That distinction quickly faded as the "average" consumer got exposed to the internet, and (thanks to commercial media bombardment) learned that web sites are at "www dot whatever dot com", so if you wanted anyone to use your site you had to also register the .com (if it was available).
Nowadays there are all kinds of TLDs, and which one you choose should be completely up to you. I'd take the above statement into account somewhat though; many people are now aware of some of the more common TLDs (.edu, .org, .net, etc.), but .us will probably still confuse many grandmothers of the world.

yes, org = organization.
What I wrote is about how I feel when I see it. I'ts not good. At best it's almost like some boring government entity.
Most of the time I actually will avoid the .org web sites. except the bridge.

I think I will stick with the .us. Because Sara is right everyone has this linked and .us domain is, I think, $4 a year, so hopefully I can afford to keep it.
My problem is Scatteredthoughts.us is so long and hard to remember, if you tell someone. Like ScatteredMedia.com, I told one person my email and he said, "wow that's a long one". Idiot.
I think I might just tell people my blog is dancameron.org but just forward it to scatteredthoughts.us.
