some communist you turned out to be. i've since changed my mind about the shuffles. they're cool at first, but upon closer examination, the lack of screen is really frustrating.

I will let you play with it; the shuffle when I get it. I heard the controls are perfect. That it takes 5 minutes to get used to and you never have to look at it becuase of the formed buttons. The main thing that sold me was, at work I can plug it in as a usb thumbdrive, like I already do to run firefox off it, then I can plug the speakers directly into it. Rather then have my computer send the music and eat up my processor sinc emy songs are on a disc. Oh, and the lanyard, I think I will were it everywhere.
