If so, maybe you need a new phone... :)
You might be missing the point that I'm not using Pownce as a medium to post on my blog. Only a few people see these posts on my site (the RSS subscribers) the majority see them as what they are.
So while I say Pownce helps me micro-post it's because it's separate from my site and I can easily have that distinction now. And that's why there are absolutely no limitations compared to WP because they're two separate streams.
I post short posts on my blog all the time. I often choose to post longer posts, but I don't regret it at all when I do, and I can always choose (using one system) which one I'd rather do. If I wanted to make short posts about my trip I could have done so just as easily using my blog than if I used pounce or twitter.
Again, I'm not trying to convince you to do anything differently, just explaining why I don't see the need (for myself at least) to post to multiple places / systems.
I just threw in the jab about freedom as a joke, even though that is one reason why I wouldn't want to use Twitter or Pounce for some content and my blog for other parts.
this post is a joke...or is it?!?!?!
Sorry if that's too complicated for you; maybe I should just stick to things like talking about excrement, because we all know how hilarious that is.
The sentence in question:
is one that does accurately represent my opinion, but was also intended to be a humorous reference to our recent exchange regarding freedom and restrictions, etc.
In other words, I do "seriously" feel that way, but I only worded it in those terms as a joke. I'll try to make it less vague next time, and add plenty of appropriate emoticons.
