Splitting Content into Two Columns, e.g. Word Wrap with PHP or CSS + Javascript
As for Pownce, I got your invite, but I don't know whether I can really dive into another one of these things right now. I would really like to keep my online presence as streamlined and minimalist as I can; I was even somewhat reluctant to do Facebook, but I'll probably keep that up for a while at least, but not do any crazy add ons.
One selling point to Pownce for a lot of people might be the file sharing piece. I can easily see this becoming the Napster of this decade; since it can be fairly closed off from public view, any files you trade with your friends are fairly private, at least until they get a subpoena to start "tapping" your account. :)
I'm sure it will take off and gain quite a bit of ground, if for no other reason than Kevin and his crew are behind it, assuring it at least a decent amount of publicity.
I too want to be minimalistic in the "communities" that's why I want pownce to replace twitter or Twitter to start adding some more features. Right now I see myself only using facebook as my alternative online presence outside of this site, twitter is more of a tool to mini-post to this site and to give others the option to see those mini-posts through twitters accessibility. Pownce would then just replace the mini-posts/asides to this sites and solely do the interaction (like comments) over at that domain.
I love the mini-posting through Twitter right now. It really frees me from posting whatever I want as fast and as remotely as I want, it's like having a stryker blog.
If I do use pownce to replace my mini-posts you'll have to register if you want to comment, so i hope you at least register to comment.
