Gonna try out The World: Technology. Good recomendations.

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

That's why I went to feed burner.

1. if iTunes ever changes the way they want the tags in the rs feed feedburner will take care of it automatically.

2. Easier to manage all the info if I need to update it. I won't have to change my rss file every time.

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

Did you hear this week's TWIT show, where they were talking about how lame the iTunes RSS system is?

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

The MAKE Magazine podcast is also really good. Mainly hacking/tinkering stuff and they do videocast occassionally as well. http://makezine.com/blog/archive/make_podcast/i...

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

Engadget is a good one.

I listened to the 2600 shows for the last year or so. I prefer "off the hook" but never really enjoyed "off the wall" Worth checking out both if you haven't heard them. the rss link for 2600 nabs both shows.

While not technically a podcast, the audio files from "The Fifth HOPE" conference are awesome. Even if you just listen to the Kevin Mitnik and Steve Wozniak keynotes. http://www.the-fifth-hope.org/hoop/5hope_speake...

On the Christian tip I really enjoy "The God Journey". Its done by 2 friends of mine who are fantastic thinkers and writers, and they talk about God and issues in the world big and small.
http://www.thegodjourney.com/podcast.xml

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

Yeah, I forgot to include engadget.

I'll check the others out soon.

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

Ha, my comment is in moderation, probably because of all the links.

Re: Podcasts at Scattered

Engadget
Science at NASA
2600
Democracy Now
The Linux User Show
The Mobiles Show (about cell phone tech)
Software As She's Developed (This is from an Australian java developer - that's where the "she's" comes from, so don't worry, Dan, there's no girls on this one)

I listen to a whole bunch of other software developer ones and some other miscellaneous ones too, but you may not be interested in those.
