More and more I am starting to accept the idea that the Fed Reserve owners allowed 9 11 and bush is a mere puppet. The Fed wants internal control of the us citizen but they have the constitution to deal with. So, why not have the terror threat to erode our rights. I was in that camp that was thinking this was ok up to a point. Now, not.
A great way to get control of the us citizen is to create a " need " for some real ID system, like an implantable chip. That need is here with the influx of illegals. Many citizens on one sided don't want illegals to gain access to social security and would allow lists and chips etc. The opposing view of the open borders might want Ids to keep criminals out but let in the whomever wants to come here. Add the colapse of the dollar and ID theft and we are ready for the chip. A RFID was proposed in all new CA licenses starting in spring 2008, but was defeated in sacramento. This could allow for a GPS tracking. There are NOW RFID chips in all new passports issued this year.

Not sure who suggested it here but the McCain campaign has suggested
themselves that an attack on US soil would help their McCain win the white

Careful there. Suggesting that the opposing party actually wants a terrorist attack, when it's more likely that they simply have differing views on how to prevent one, detracts from one's credibility and causes people to wonder if your tinfoil hat is on just a bit too tight. ;)

(Not a Bush defender and not all that excited about McCain, though I do take the terrorist threat seriously)

I'll try to find the video but he is going to do something about capital
gains, because right now people pay less in capital gain taxes (wallstreet)
then someone claiming income tax, and that's wrong. Think about the 500K
salaraies on wallstreet paying less or the same as someone making 100K.

I wouldn't imagine his new capital gains plan would affect the "working
class" because I truely believe he's for you and I and against the two
americas.

Not that I want to get into arguing the various points of this (although I think several are misleading), there is one glaring inaccuracy that should be addressed:
What is meant by "more than double" in reference to the income tax part? Someone needs to check their math there, as none of those figures are anywhere near double.

One big thing that turned me was the reports on iran from the cia and the intelligence agencies saying that iran was far from making a nuke. bush comes out the same day and says ' no they are making it and they are a threat...' the guy wants to have a war with iran....gw is fitting into the perfect mold of aaron russo's theories. that is the only thread that explains how bush is operating to me.

yup, I'm not joking either, it took me awhile to come to this opinion, ,I now consider bush a very dangerous liar that I trusted. The recent giving up more power to the private company called the fed to oversee the banking system is really nuts. He will be trying to get us to take the chip next.
I have called the white house several times that I am supporting his impeachment.

here bush got us into a war against terror - a mostly undefined vagueness to use against americans to take away our rights. mccain is of the exact same ilk. the fed reserve private banking corp puppet masters want us to invade iran next to gain more of a foothold in the middle east.

It's not really fair to think only of the deficit when discussing tax cuts since the federal deficit is not only a function of income but also of spending. While it is point of debate in this particular instance whether the lower taxes actually increased federal revenue (check out the corporate tax revenue after 2003 though), it most certainly does happen when the tax rates are much too high. Also, it is pretty clear I think that the economy was strengthened in many ways from those tax cuts. Increasing employment levels at the end of 2003 up until just recently are often cited in support of this.

My point though was that McCain believes that thy have been positive, which would naturally cause him to reassess his position making the charge of flip-flop unfair.

There's been a positive effect on the tax cuts? I haven't seen anything that supports the huge tax cuts for the top 2% have been good for our economy. I've only seen our deficit increase dramatically.

I think the flip-flop accusation gets thrown around a lot too much. Changing your mind isn't a flip-flop. For instance, if you consider McCain's position on the Bush tax cuts you will find that he never had a philosophical objection to cutting taxes, and now that he has seen the positive effect that they had it is natural for him to modify his position.

Flip-flopping should be reserved for a special kind of verbal gymnastics. Unwilling to commit to a side through vagaries or what not. Significantly changing presentation depending on the audience. Unwillingness to make a strong defence of a serious policy. These are things that show character flaws or sloppy thinking that should lower confidence in a candidate.

Yeah, I wouldn't have a problem with mandatory second language in US education. It would be good if you could choose which language to learn, and Spanish would be a logical choice.

I also reject the notion that there's inherently something wrong with this kind of requirement. There are all sorts of things you're "required" (or should be required) to learn in school (reading, various levels of math, etc.).

It's certainly debatable whether a second language *should* be one of those things, but I really dislike the implication (which I'm sure some will make) that it's somehow inherently evil to even suggest that the government could "require" us to do something like this.
